Hindi lang talaga sa salita kundi sa gawa pinapakita ng
butihing Mayor na si Richard 'Goma Gomez' for his dedication and service to the
town, bilang isang punong bayan sa bayan ng Ormoc City. Pinatunayan ng dating
aktor na si Goma (kasalukuyang nanunungkulang Mayor na nasabing lugar) ang
kanyang kakayahan na mamuno at karapat
dapat na huwarang ama ng bayan. Kaya naman hindi nakapagtataka kung bakit
patuloy na umaani ng papuri ang magaling at mapagmahal na Mayor mula sa
mamamayan ng Ormoc City dahil sa pagiging magaling na public servant at maging
ang kanyang maybahay congressman Lucy Torres na maganda rin ang feedback sa
kanyang panunungkulan.

“This Victory of Ormoc City Delegation brought pride, honor,
unity and joy to the people of Ormoc. OUR VICTORY is another testament of a new
Ormoc envisioned by the administration of Mayor Richard Gomez. However, to my
dear athletes, it was your blood, sweat, tears, body pains, injuries,
sacrifices and hardwork that brought this victory. It was your heart for ORMOC
that brought you to victory. Congratulations and thank you very much to all our
athletes for this great success. Thank you very much teachers, coaches and
trainers for taking care of our athletes. Thank you very much to the kitchen
team, the support staff of DEPED Ormoc City Division Office, and the
hardworking staff of the City Sports Office. Thank you very much to all parents
for their full support and sacrifices.
