Robin Padilla stars in General Bato dela Rosa biopic


 

Action superstar Robin Padilla portrays former Philippine National Police Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa in an upcoming true to life movie.
Bato The Movie: The General Dela Rosa Story tackles about the colorful life of the former PNP Police chief.
But more than just being a policeman who dedicated his life and loyalty to his country, the movie also shows a different side of Bato.
Bato The Movie, shows how it all started for the former PNP chief: from a simple boy from a rural are, whose morals and ideas have been shaped by his idealistic father, the very person who wanted the young Bato to be a defender of the good when he grow up.
At the first look, people might see Bato as a bulky and a touch looking police officer, but behind the alpha male appearance is a man who is passionate about fighting for the good and compassionate about his family.
 
The film shows that he is loving husband and a caring , kind hearted father to his kids.
More than just the story of Bato, this life storyalso mirrors the challengers that a policeman encounters in his profession.
It emphasized the daily dangers that a police officer is faced with brought about by his sworn dedication to protect the oppressed and fight for the good.
But it is not only in his field of profession that he counters problems, but also in his personal life.
This movie also taclkes about the personal problem and conflict that an officer experiences with his loved ones. More often than not, while love ones are aware about the dangers of the police officer’s chosen career, they find it hard to reconcile with the idea that his life is alwyas on the line in the call of duty.
 
In some instances, being a police man also exposes his family to dangers and threats. We will also find out in the movie how Bato dealt with the true to life dangers that he bravely faced and overcame in adherence to his protect the innocents and fight for his country.
